By accessing or using TheCVBuilder ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

TheCVBuilder provides an online resume builder that allows you to create, edit, save, and export resumes using our templates and editor. We may offer free and premium features. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Your Account and Content

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You retain ownership of the content you create (e.g., resume text). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your resume content.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or that violates others' rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts, scrape or automate access in a way that burdens our infrastructure, or use the Service to distribute malware or spam. We may monitor for abuse and take action as needed.

The Service, including its design, templates (excluding your own content), logos, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission. You may use our templates only within the Service to create your resumes.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that resumes created with our templates will pass any particular ATS or result in job offers. We are not liable for decisions made by employers based on your resume.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
